Acorn Lodge Care Home is situated in a beautiful, picturesque village namely Beazley End, Braintree, ESSEX. Acorn Lodge is approximately five miles from the town of Braintree.

Acorn Lodge is purpose built on one acre of land surrounded by many acres of farmlands

Which means it is quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and refreshing atmosphere.

There are three main buildings, each has private single rooms, the rooms are well equipped with all the modern conveniences with flat screen television, Sky receiver, DVD player, Toilet, bathroom plus free access to WI-FI. In general, the home is very well equipped with a state-of-the-art kitchen. (All meals are prepared and cooked, from fresh every day according to resident’s request and adhere to special diets). Wet shower rooms are well engineered with power showers. There are three living rooms, all equipped with flat screen TV, music centres and several musical instruments, plus a big conservatory that can be used for all seasons. To the front is our reception room, all fully air conditioned to cope with the hot weather. There is a laundry room with washing machines, and dryers.  Next to the reception is the medication room where all medicines are stored.

To the front of the Home is a car park that can accommodate at least twelve cars, the car park is surrounded by a beautiful rose garden, roses of all description.

To the rear of the building is our well-established/manicured garden mostly laid with lawns and three mature conifer trees, which provides comforting shade in the summer.

Further on to the rear of the garden is an orchard which consists of several fruit trees, as Apple trees, plum trees, cherry trees, pear trees, which the residents enjoy the fruits (all trees are naturally grown, with no artificial fertilizer)

In so far as activities are concerned, we pride ourselves on a well-organized and implemented rehabilitation programme for all residents according to their medical and social needs.

Activities to incorporate swimming, bowling, football, table tennis, long walks in the countryside, sensory session ( including magic table games), arts and crafts, etc.

 We are proud with  our parties .All residents birthday have a massive birthday celebration. Party food, drinks and of course, music.

Education activities, are, mathematics, English, drawing, painting, etc

As the weather gets better, we do BBQ very often (at least once a month), This BBQ last almost all day with Burgers, sausages, chicken, salads and beer, shandy, wine, soft drinks, cakes, and deserts.

Plus, our resident DJ provides the music, so our residents can dance and enjoy themselves, in the garden which enhances a fun day.

Braintree Freeport is approximately five miles away, it is famous for outlet shopping, people will travel all over the country to come to shop here.

Security: Acorn Lodge is highly protected by 24/7 CCTV monitoring and recording.
